Noema Pasquali , also known as Tiger Orchid, is an Italian Performer whose work is based on Semiotics and Empathy. Since childhood she showed interest for all kind of arts and different levels of communication; Literature, Painting, Music and Theatre represented her first approach then she started studying Philosophy, Anthropology and Body Modification.
At 18 she started her career as piercer at the same time studying Visual Sociology, Semiotics and started practicing Yoga and from then she increased her interest for Extreme Body Art and Fakirism while travelling around. The more she practiced and studied the more she focused all her work on Performances and Empathy. From this she started travelling and performing around Europe being in touch with several artists and trying to learn and share as more as possible. She has been one of the most important body artist of the Italian scene always trying to stay out of the mainstream and more linked to people perceptions.
Noema gives a lot of importance to share knowledge and perspectives, she is passionate and open minded, she is always open to relate, questioning and bettering.
